Archie's career so far...
2010/2011 Season, Herons Youth FC: A good season back at Herons. Archie played mainly as a striker but was used also a left winger and a left back on one occassion. Archie and the boys won the Sun Postal 6-a-side tournament. 2009/2010 Season, Evergreen Football Club: Archie had a successful trial at Evergreen and was straight away placed into the top team, the Juniors, and handed the number 9 shirt. We both enjoyed a good season at Evergreen. Archie finished 2nd top goal scorer, ahead of some very good players. He mostly played on the left of midfield. Towards the end of the season he wanted to return to Herons and I have since agreed that he can return for the 2010/2011 season. 2006 - 2008/2009 Season, Herons Youth FC: Archie's first team was Herons Youth. I decided to take him down to training after I saw an ad in the Watford Observer. He enjoyed himself and asked if he could go again, since then we haven't looked back. In his first season, Archie mainly played in defence so as to learn the ropes and steadily progressed to midfield. During the 2007/2008 season he played in midfield and earnt the nickname 'Scholesy', thanks partly for his strawberry blonde hair but also for his tough, no nonsence tackling, and also finished the season as 2nd top goal scorer. He was then put upfront for the 2008/2009 season and smashed in 32 goals in 18 games whilst wearing the number 9 shirt just like his then hero, Fernando Torres. Archie and Myself then decided that he would join local team Evergreen Juniors. This was due to the quality of their team and certain players.
